A birth of a new born child is always a momentous occasion in the life of a parent. The spectrum of emotions that has to be dealt with leading up to the birth followed up by the euphoria of seeing your new born baby is something that cannot be simply quantified.

It was this experience that the Little Mix Star Perrie Edwards recently had the luck to experience for herself.

In a photo sharing a glimpse of her new born son two weeks after giving birth to him, she wrote, “2 weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before!”.

While it cannot be a breeze being a new mom, she has decided to share the baby’s name for the very first time as well.

In a tribute to her husband, Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain, Edwards has decided to name the new born baby, Axel Oxlade-chamberlain.

Upon the announcement of the name, within an hour the announcement had been liked close to 800,000 likes with famous friends and family commenting on the post.

Former Strictly Come Dancing star and influencer Saffron Barker was among those who commented, saying: “Adorable… so gorgeous, congratulations again xxxx”.

Love Island star Georgia Harrison also poured love onto Axel, commenting, “omg this is perfection”, as well as some emojis with love hearts for eyes, while TV presenter Kim Woodburn simply wrote: “beautiful”

Edwards, who is now 28 years old announced her pregnancy back in May with a post on Instagram only with her footballer husband. The couple has been together happily since 2017. Edwards also gave birth almost a week after her bandmate.

Edwards makes up a part of one of the UK’s biggest girl bands and they are set to release their latest album and celebrate their 10th anniversary in November.
