The third stand-alone film for 2012 Screen Star of Tomorrow Tom Holland is No Way Home.  With  Spider Man's identity known, the friendly neighborhood web-slinger is no longer able to distinguish between his everyday life as Peter Parker and the consequences of being a superhero. When Peter seeks Doctor Strange's assistance, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, the stakes rise even higher, forcing him to realize what it actually means to be Spider-Man.
The Sony movie Spider-Man: No Way Home has recorded an incredible £31.9 million total opening in the UK and Ireland, making it the fourth-highest ever in the country.
The picture grossed £19.5 million from Friday to Sunday, on top of £12.39 million in its first two days, including a £7.6 million premiere day played in 648 locations- the greatest ever Wednesday opening in the UK and Ireland. It outperforms Universal's No Time To Die, which grossed £25.9 million in October in four days compared to No Way Home's five. No Time To Die had a slightly better debut weekend, grossing £21 million.  The figures are a substantial part of a massive $588 million global launch, which is the industry's third- largest ever. With cinemas still permitted to function at maximum capacity in the UK and 50% capacity in Ireland, Sony will attempt to capitalize on this great start over the Christmas season.
